Here is a project that’s a little different than what I’m used to doing. Working with Beatmaker Bill has been an interesting experience. The assignment was to create a custom digipak artwork design layout. It has been challenging and fun; the rubber duck artwork idea originally came from my sketchbook back in 2008. Of course, back then, the duck was sporting a martini and a giant cigar. Beatmaker Bill wanted to go in a different direction, so we changed it up with a 357 revolver and a maschine; I just learned what a maschine is. The oval steel ring and green leaves idea came from the good ole one dollar bill’s left-top corner.
Beatmaker Bill is currently teamed up with Play It Cool Records in Grand Island, Nebraska. Make sure to check them out online at: www.PlayItCoolRecords.com. Play It Cool Records is currently in the process of having digipaks manufactured that you can purchase as well. If you’re into free music, Play It Cool Records has albums for free download via their website.
